It’s that time of the year again: The Quarterly Bloggy Giveaway Week.
I write an online column for God’s World News, a current events news magazine for kids that provides commentary on current news from a biblical perspective. There are a lot of great resources available on the God’s World News website, but even more important is the print version that comes right to your door. These magazines are great resources for your kids – homeschooled, Christian schooled, or public schooled. No matter your educational decision, this is a great tool for engaging with your children and the news.
The magazines are published once a month for the length of the school year with a separate summer subscription available. There are four levels of the magazine: Early Edition, Taking Off, News Current, and Top Story.
For this giveaway, we’re offering four school year subscriptions. This means your subscription will finish out this school year and pick up again next September for 9 month’s worth of God’s World News.
You can enter this giveaway three ways:
- Get one entry by leaving a comment below along with the God’s World News level you are most interested in receiving.
- Get a second entry by looking at the God’s World News website. Come back here and leave a comment telling which online resource you would use the most. Again, tell which magazine level you are most interested in receiving.
- Get a third entry by blogging about this contest on your own site. You will have to come back here and leave another comment letting me know you linked and again, tell me which level you want.
Comments for this contest will close on Thursday, October 30 at 10pm. Winners will be announced soon after.
Easy peasy, rice and cheesy.
Thanks for entering!
Thursday, October 30 10:00pm – The comments are now closed. Winners will be announced shortly.

My girls used to read this at their Christian school. Now they are in a public school, but I’d love to enter to winthis for them so they could still get it and read it at home!
On another note, I am looking for some freelance columnist positions. If this newsletter ever offers anything where I could write on media influences on girls and put things in perspective for young girls – I’d be interested.
