Classical Conversations

Classical Conversations is coming to St. Louis in the fall of 2008! Currently, there are two Foundations and Essentials programs forming in both the Central West End and South County areas, and one program in O’Fallon, IL.

The following video was not produced by Classical Conversations Corporate, but by the local CC group in Memphis, TN. I think it gives a pretty good idea of what the classes are like and what you can expect.

Central West End Location
The director for the Central West End is me (Megan Dunham). I can be reached by email at halfpinthouse [at] gmail [dot] com. Here is the meeting information:

Mondays, September 8 – November 24, 2008
Memorial Presbyterian Church

201 S. Skinker Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63105

The spring semester will meet January 12 – April 6, 2009.
There will be no meeting the week of March 23-27.

This program currently has 3 Foundations tutors with 13 Foundations students, and 1 Essentials tutor with 5 Essentials students. We are always on the hunt for more moms to join our team!

Important Change: Our Essentials program has changed to Wednesday afternoons from 12:45-2:45 at my home. Email me for more information on that. Foundations has not changed and will still be on Mondays from 9-12 at Memorial Presbyterian Church.

To inquire about participating in this program, email me at the address above.

Free tutor training as well as parent practicums will be held in O’Fallon, IL July 16-18, 2008. This training is free to anyone, but you must be a contracted tutor to sign up for the tutor portion of the practicum.
